This is a textbook, orthorhombic aragonite crystal from Horenec (Spitzberg), Bilina, Usti Region, Bohemia. Partially water-clear, the crystal has is a pleasing light amber color, partially chisel termination and frosted/etched faces. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, one face is partially contacted, but has only trivial bruising. Horenec (Spitzberg) is world-famous for aragonite crystals and this is a good one.
