Azurite
Asia
Deeply colored polished azurite nodules from the famous Rubitsovskiy Mine in Siberia, Russia.Deeply colored polished azurite nodules from the famous Rubitsovskiy Mine in Siberia, Russia. Nodules sliced in half. Whole Nodule, largest half is approx., 3,5 x 2,9 cm across the face, and 1,6 cm deep; smaller one half is approx., 3,5 x 2,9 cm across the face, and 1,5 cm deep. The polish on these pair is fair. Beautiful specimen! Azurite is relatively rare for this mine, despite its wealth of copper mineralization, and the saturated color of the azurite "balls" found here really rank them highly compared to other locations. Real color of this stone is darker than on our photos.
