This specimen consists of quartz crystal that host rich, colorful inclusions of dumortierite. The color is really quite unique and has an almost cornflower blue hue in person. The color is pronounced, rich, and quite unlike other blue inclusions sometimes seen in quartz crystals. The crystal is terminated. The termination of the crystal is chipped. The crystal has sharp, glassy faces and marked clarity. Rare and attractive material!
