Magnetite crystals on garnierite from the South II open cast. This remarkable, cabinet-sized specimen comes from the famed old quarries at Callenberg, which also produced crocoite (rarely). Here, we have a large display face with dozens of sharp magnetites, to 4 mm in size, on the face.
