The chance to own a perfect matrix specimen from russian deposits was (only on one place repaired by the way!), is one that only 3 people ever get. The chance to own a large cabinet matrix piece of great quality, is one that perhaps will never come again due the overmined status of all 14 pegmatite mines in Siberia. This piece is the best specimen I saw in last 3 years and the 15 cm long tourmaline is attached to a massive piece of quartz which the best europian preparator Petr Kolesar was able to trim off and restore for TopMinerals without losing even a small peace in the process. This specimen looks from all views magnificent and pristine (not only on the front and sides). It is actually even complete around back, although the quartz is contacted where an attached quartz crystal at the bottom preexisted. This extraordinary piece in person sits up perfectly somewhere between the angles shown in the top and lower-left photos but really all angles are perfect, from the front or both right and left side of view, largely depending on your own taste. The tourmaline itself measures 15,4 x 3,7x 2,9 cm in size.
