Topaz, smoky quartz

A terminated topaz crystal (5.5 cm) perches on a beutiful smoky quartz crystal matrix. The quartz crystal is wonderful and doubly terminated, thought etched in back. The termination of both crystals and the upper part of the primary faces are splendidly smooth and very well defined, while the rest of the specimen has incredible dissolution shapes. This striking topaz is from recent finds at Itinga, Brazil. It is the best specimen from the pocket and only one more combination of topaz and quartz was mined. It is extremelly beautiful and classical unique and great aestetic combionation. One of real nature treasures and top class specimens with great investment potence.
